The role of the church in supporting the scorned includes showing love, acceptance, and forgiveness to those who have been mistreated or marginalized. This is in line with Jesus’ teachings in Matthew 25:40, where He says, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (NIV).
