The Church’s Responsibility to Support and Care for the Marginalized

The church has a responsibility to support and care for those who are misassigned or marginalized in society. This can include providing emotional support, resources, and advocacy for those who may be facing discrimination or injustice.

Scripture supports this idea in Matthew 25:35-36, where Jesus instructs his followers to care for those in need: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” This demonstrates the importance of showing compassion and support to those who are vulnerable or marginalized in society.
