The role of the church in supporting the miscomprehended is to show love, compassion, and understanding, following the example of Jesus Christ. The church is called to offer a place of refuge, support, and guidance to those who are misunderstood or marginalized in society. In doing so, the church fulfills the biblical mandate to care for the vulnerable and show Christ’s love to all people. (Matthew 25:35-40)
