The Sacred Institution of Marriage and Family in Christianity

Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, instituted by God (Genesis 2:24). It is meant to be a lifelong commitment of love, faithfulness, and mutual support. The Bible teaches that marriage should reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Family is also an important institution in Christianity, where parents are instructed to raise their children in the ways of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Family provides a foundation for love, support, and nurturing within the Christian community.
