The Bible tells us in Romans 13:11, “And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.” This verse highlights the importance of being spiritually awake and aware of the times we are living in. Christians believe that we are called to be spiritually awake and responsive to God’s leading in order to fulfill His purposes on earth.
