Understanding the Trinity in Christian Theology

The concept of the Trinity in Christian theology refers to the belief in one God who exists as three Persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. This belief is based on passages in the Bible such as Matthew 28:19 which states, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
