As Christians, we are called to be good stewards of the Earth and all of God’s creation. In Genesis 1:28, God instructs humanity to “subdue” the Earth and have dominion over it, which can be understood as a call to responsibly care for and manage the environment. Additionally, Psalm 24:1 declares, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it,” reminding us of our responsibility to care for God’s creation as His stewards. Therefore, it is important for Christians to actively engage in environmental stewardship practices to protect and preserve the Earth for future generations.
